Not sure if it's possible, but when I flip to Theater mode on a portrait-oriented window, the chat is hidden by default and the button to expand the chat is also hidden. I usually need to shrink the screen down to 90% to have the button become visible.
Then, depending on the screen size, it will often try to put the chat on the side instead of under the stream. I usually have to zoom in a bunch to get it to format to the proper stacked view.
If an adjustment can be made, it should be done in a way that it doesn't interfere with wide windows. It's probably just some minor adjustment to one of the
media
CSS rule.It makes 0 sense the way Twitch has the styling by default, as the portrait orientation with the chat going up the size means that like 66% or more of the screen is just black space above/below the video.
