To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. git clone the project
2. Follow the documentation instructions for building (go build -o agent cmd/agent/main.go)
3. See error - cmd/agent/main.go:40:2: reading nhooyr.io/websocket/go.mod at revision v1.8.11: unknown revison v1.8.11
   4.The agent and proxy both fail to build this way.

Expected behavior
The project should build when following the documentation

• Version latest clone of master

Hello.
I think that is because maintainer of nhooyr.io/websocket removed this domain.
However in my config (Debian Go 1.24) despite this fact go build works well.
Anyway I think you can replace
nhooyr.io/websocket
to
github.com/coder/websocket
in agent/main.go and pkg/controller/controller.go
then
go mod tidy
and
go build

not super familiar with go but this is what I get now after making the changes and running go mod tidy. go build fails obviously.

It is hard to say what is wrong with your config.
Try this order:
0) install go ver 1.24

1. download project zip from github, unpack it to any forlder
2. remove go.mod, go.sum files from project folder
3. replace nhooyr.io/websocket with github.com/coder/websocket in import sections of two files according previous my post
4. in project folder run commandsgo mod init github.com/nicocha30/ligolo-ng go mod tidy
5. cd cmd/agent then go build

Idk what to say man. I just started over from scratch. Took the steps you mention, and i get all of the exact same errors. All of my other go stuff works perfectly. It's literally only this project.

I think that problems is that before
go mod tidy
You have to run command
go mod init github.com/nicocha30/ligolo-ng
Exactly as full github url (not go mod init blablabla)
So go mod do not reload mod ibfo from GitHub but use it from your local repo.
