Does bind agent enfore authentication by certificate fingerprint?

I've tried running agent as following:
./agent -accept-fingerprint ABCD -bind 0.0.0.0:443 // this is actual cmd string
And I've managed to connect my proxy (via connect_agent cmd) to this agent. Is that how it's supposed to work? If not, it woulde be nice to add some kind of authentication.
