I advocated a few years ago to retain all type strain records because we found an instance where a true type record was being excluded due to the impact of a cluster of bad non-type records upon the outlier detection algorithm. I would like to recant, please. There are too many incorrectly classified type strain records out there, and it's creating confusing for the seq review team.
