How to resolve issue about escaping charactes with option stric parser enabled

Hello.

Due to this bug (thread) I have problems about reading correctly the escaping charactes.
To resolve this issue, I thinking to do the following.

1. create a channel that recevive the HL7 message with the Strict option checked
2. without previous error, sending the HL7 message to another channel with the Strict option not checked

Can have any sense?
If my thinking have a sense, can I generate other NACK or ACK from the second channel in case of wrong data inside the HL7 message received?
Are there other issue to consider about my thinking?
