We are currently working on a safer way to do userIdentifier/password authentication based on the OPAQUE protocol. I believe this could be a great addition as provider to next-auth.
I was wondering if this is interesting, because if so we could contribute it as a provider.
That said the protocol requires 2 back and forth requests for registration and login. From what I have seen this is not possible in next-auth as of yet?
