Can the Next auth team add support for mongoose?

Hi,
Mongoose is used most of the time when people use MongoDB. There is no Adapter for Mongoose on the next auth website. And I am unable to create one Adapter for mongoose.

I am building a next js app and using mongoose for all the Database queries but for authentication, I will have to use the MongoDB package as there is no adapter for mongoose.
