Is there a way to replace the http client?

My company proxies through a unix domain socket to authenticate requests. Is there some way to override the HTTP client?

Looking for someway to set the socketPath: https://nodejs.org/api/http.html#httprequesturl-options-callback.

I'm specifically looking to use the oauth2 provider.
