When upgrading 3.1 to 3.2.5 and applying migrations:

ImportError: cannot import name 'GraphQLResolveInfo' from ‘graphql'

We are running Python 3.8

The string "GraphQLResolveInfo" does not appear anywhere in Netbox source code.

Do you have any Netbox plugins installed? Otherwise: let's see the full backtrace please.

You should not have to install anything yourself as a dependency. ./upgrade.sh takes care of this for you, creating a new virtualenv and installing all dependencies from requirements.txt

When you say "py38-dj40-graphene-django-2.15.0" that sounds like some sort of OS-provided package. You really don't want to try running Netbox that way.

OK, as I suspected: if you see "/usr/local/lib/..." that's wrong. You should be running manage.py within your virtualenv. Running netbox outside of a virtualenv is not supported.

You said "When upgrading 3.1 to 3.2.5 and applying migrations" - but it seems like you were doing this manually, instead of running the ./upgrade.sh script.

Once you've switched to using a virtualenv, to avoid problems in future, I suggest you remove all OS-level python packages that you installed for Netbox.

We've been running NetBox via FreeBSD ports for a long, long time without much issue (understood this is completely unsupported)

I do see a reference to this issue here:
graphql-python/graphene#1193

Thanks for confirming (what I had suspected) I'll bring this up to the port maintainer.
