Set default globalsearch lookuptype

I opened a FR to "Set default globalsearch lookuptype" #17138
The maintainer responded with would result in a lot of confusion and frustration.

I would like to hear the opinion of more people.. If most of them agree with the maintainer, then I have to let it go.
Otherwise, I'd like to submit a new FR to get this implmenented

@PieterL75 you've had the opportunity to propose a change, and it has been given due consideration along with the thousands of other feature requests submitted to the project.

This FR was not accepted. As NetBox is open source, you are absolutely free to make whatever changes you'd like in a fork. However, please note that intentionally resubmitting a rejected FR simply because you didn't like the response will result in being barred from further participation in the project.
