Hi, In this case, one approach is to create the container prefix without assigning a VRF. NetBox will then include and calculate the utilization of all child prefixes underneath it, regardless of their individual VRFs. This allows you to track overall usage, even when the child prefixes are isolated in separate VRFs. Hope that helps! |

Hi,
My company plans to use IPAM as IP address management tool. However, I have a problem with how prefix utilization of prefixes is calculated . We have public IP address prefixes that are of course unique, but we use different VRF per customer. One prefix is defined as Container dedicated for customers, but customers are in different VRF than the parent prefix (Container). So utilization for container does not reflect the actual utilization of the IP address pool.
Is it possible IP address uniqueness to not depend on the VRF configured on the routers? Or some random field to be added to have an option to choose IP prefix to be depended on VRF or not?
