Long API queries

Hello everyone,
When we automatically deploy VMs and get free IP addresses from the NetBox via the API, we have the problem that the requests take longer and longer. See screenshot from our load balancer.
Do you have any idea why this could be? Are tables being blocked for these requests or something similar?
CPU and RAM utilization of the NetBox VM is totally relaxed.
