Pass Dynamic Values For Table Default Columns?

Is it possible to pass the Table in Tables.py specific values to use as the default_columns value? So rather than provide static values every time a specific table is called, I would be able to say I wanted these 3 specific fields and a 2nd time I call the table, show 2 different fields from the same table without the 3 fields from instance A?
