Lightweight 'news' tool with RSS capability

I'm playing with an up to date version of NetBox and had the idea that I could add an RSS widget with local NetBox related news to my user's default home pages.

Is anyone aware of a simple tool for hosting articles and produces an RSS feed that I can point the widget at?

I've contemplated writing a plugin so I can host these articles directly in NetBox, but I'd rather keep the tech debt down if possible and use something that already exists.
