NANOG 87 is happening next month, in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be preceded by a hackathon sporting a very appealing theme: interacting with sources of truth. Needless to say, I was interested!
After consulting with the NANOG staff, I've arranged to attend as an advocate for NetBox, offering project ideas and dedicated support hours for anyone who would like to participate. This will be a great opportunity to build a new plugin, or experiment with API integrations, or even smash our a bug or feature in NetBox itself—anything goes!
The main conference runs February 13-15, with the hackathon taking place on the preceding weekend (February 11-12). There's also an introductory call on February 3rd to learn more about the event, get ideas, and decide if you want to work with a team. Participants will need to register here ahead of time, but registration is free and doesn't require a conference pass. Best of all, people can participate both in-person and virtually!
Let us know if you'll be attending! I'm sure there are tons of great ideas floating around.
