Hey all! Tomorrow's community call wraps up 2022 for us, and we're taking some time to consider how best to encourage community engagement.
Something we've noticed after holding these calls for a year is that the presentation format doesn't accommodate live discussion and feedback very well. (The live stream induces a lag, and participants can only interact via text.) So we're considering alternative formats that might better encourage live participation. One option being evaluated is moving to a group video chat (likely via Zoom), which would allow for much more natural live discussion.
We'd also like to experiment with different content. Rather than having one or two primary presenters dominate the call, we might try offering two or three short time slots each month that people can sign up for to share something they've built or discovered. A typical call might break down like this:
Ultimately, our goal is to spur greater community engagement by providing a common platform and encouraging NetBox users to share what they've learned and built.
Is this something you'd carve out time for? What kind of content would you like to see?
