Any chance of supporting barcodes types other than QR? Treepoem could be used in place of qrcode and supports many different types.

In the upcoming version, other barcodes will not be implemented, but I have already integrated barcodes. Since the label will be freely configurable, there is the option to implement this using an appropriate font — for example, a Google Font for Code-128. I’ll need to check again, but I believe I have already implemented something similar for labels. If so, I can add that example as well.

Currently under development:

Personally, I would like to be able to show a Data Matrix code, since those are already being used in our environment, but I thought a more open ended request might benefit more users.

Yes, I’ve only just seen your post now. Back when I needed Code 128, this information would have been really helpful. :D

But for now, I’m just happy that many of my improvements are being implemented. @cruse1977 is already doing a lot of work validating everything.

Maybe you’ll still manage to find a suitable workaround for the time being. With the new version.
