Installing on Windows with WSL

Has anyone attempted to install Netbox via Docker using WSL on a Windows machine? I'm attempting it but seem to be getting hung up on not understanding how the docker desktop comes into play.

I'm open to the cloud hosted solution with NS1 but that appears to not be released yet, was hoping for the Q4 2021 date to be accurate. Obviously, docker is the easiest option and I get get a Netbox Docker deployment to work on a stand alone Ubuntu or RHEL (this one was a PITA). I have also deployed Netbox the old fashioned way, installing everything independently on Ubuntu. Having to get it to run on an underlying Windows VM is where I am getting stuck.
