Not a valid tessellation file

Hello,
We are trying to create a cylinder domain using :

neper -T -n 400 -id 2 -morpho "diameq:lognormal(3.6,0.3),1-sphericity:lognormal(0.145,0.03)" -transform "cut(cylinder(31.8,18,36,0,100,0,150))"

And it does generate a tess file, but when we try to mesh it using

neper -M n400-id2.tess

We get the following error:

Your tessellation file is empty. To specify the domain, use -domain.

It seems that it works:

In deed the file `n400-id2.tess' is empty but I do not see why and how to resolve this problem.
Do you have any suggestion? I'd really appreciate it.

I think that -transform "cut(cylinder(31.8,18,36,100,0,0,150))" removes all of the tessellation. If what you want is just a tessellation in a cylindrical domain, then there is no need for a -transform cut.

What type of domain/geometry are you trying to get?

The geometry that I'm trying to get is a partially cut cylinder:

I'm trying to use another cylinder -transform "cut(cylinder(31.8,18,36,100,0,0,150))" to cut it and creat the flat surface.

Here is how I would proceed:

Generate the domain:

$ neper -T -n 1 -domain "cylinder(72,36,50)" -transform "planecut(30,1,0,0)" -o domain
$ neper -V domain.tess -dataedgerad 0.1 -print img1

Generate the tessellation:

$ neper -T -n 100 -domain "cell(domain.tess,1)"
$ neper -V n100-id1.tess -print img2
