Seeking advice on enhancing the accuracy of tessellations

Hello,

I’m seeking advice on enhancing the accuracy of tessellations.
I have DCT slice images similar to the one shown below.
My goal is to create a 3D image base model from these images, but the 3D grain structure changes in Neper.
I aim to align the neighboring grains, grain shapes, triple junctions, and quadruple points.
The pixelated grain boundaries lead to stress concentration.
Therefore, I’m interested in creating smooth grain boundaries while satisfying the above conditions.

I am currently developing a model under flow conditions and would like to know how to create a better model.

1. For the test, crop a portion of the images and generate a tesr file (tesr file.zip) from the sliced images using Dream3D (referencing issue Microstructure Generation in Neper using EBSD Data #258).
2. Utilize the code provided below to generate a tess file from the tesr file (referencing issue Increasing fidelity of tesselation from raster tesselation #556).
