How to use this MCP server as "Connector" or "Remote MCP"?

I want to deploy this MCP to cloud so I will be able to connect via browser using my PC or mobile via new claude feature called "connectors" which does not require Claude Desktop to be installed as well as local MCP.

Tried to configure it but no luck, is there any way how I can do it? Thanks a lot

I tried the same on my local machine, but with no success. I cannot connect with my setup (vscode and Github Copilot - Latest releases available in June 2025) to the neo4j mcp servers using http/sse. What worked for me is to change the FastMCP version from 1.0 to 2.0 (see here: https://gofastmcp.com/getting-started/quickstart). Maybe this could be a general request to update all mcp servers of this repo to the latest FastMCP version.

It looks like the latest version has already been upgraded to 2.0, but the strange thing is that I'm not sure it works well with Claude. I can add my connector, and Claude asks me to "Connect." Once I click, I'm redirected to a URL, which immediately sends me back to the Claude. After that nothing happens... just the "Connect" button again and another redirect. I'm not sure where the problem is.

I'm also not sure if the current version is compatible with Claude "connectors" or what that even means

I think Claude desktop enforces https. I recognize this window switching/flashing behavior with a silent failure. I couldn't make it work by manually editing the mcp file either.

I, however, am able to use the streamable http endpoint (mcp running in a docker container) from my own agent, without enforcing secure http.
