Small problem with this plug-in when vectors have asymmetrical end-cap settings

Love this plug-in. Thanks!
The plug-in fails (silently) when a selected vector has different settings for its endcaps.
Draw a multisegment line use the Pen tool
Edit the vector and change the beginning end cap setting to round.
Leave the ending end cap at None.
Try to split the vector using the plug-in.
