Done:

• All actions costs are ported to the new estimator.
• ExecutionMetadata is exposed in the API
• All tests pass with new gas counter
• wat is upgraded to a new version
• Preliminary benchmarks of the new gas counter with aurora contract show 90% wall-clock time reduction
• Implemented signal-less mode for Wasmer/Singlepass

In Progress:

• Runtime hits unknown perfomance cliff in the estimator #4771 -- a strange performance cliff in the database exposed by the estimator
• Figuring out the best way to roll out new gas counter with respect to protocol upgrades
• Investigations of a tool to playback the whole transactions log to see if there are variations across implementations
