Hi Nautilus Trader community ,
I hope you're all doing well! I’m reaching out to express my strong interest in contributing to Nautilus Trader full-time as a volunteer.
I’ve been exploring trading systems and low-latency architecture, and I’m truly inspired by the vision and design of Nautilus Trader. The clean architecture, focus on performance, and open-source spirit really stand out.
While I may not be an expert in trading systems just yet, I have a solid background in backend development, experience with C++ and Python, and a deep enthusiasm for learning and building production-quality software. I’m not looking for constant help — just occasional guidance from someone in the community if I hit a wall. I want to make sure my efforts are aligned with the project's goals and that I’m not working in isolation.
Could someone please guide me on:
Where I can get started and how to ramp up quickly?
Areas where contributions are currently needed most?
Any design docs, modules, or issues I should look into first?
I’d be really grateful for any direction and excited to become a committed contributor to this amazing project.
Thanks in advance,
faizan2700
