Precip and ET layer request for data hosting

For Annual Water Yield and Seasonal Water Yield, there are particular precipitation and ET0 datasets that are commonly used and good defaults, that would be useful to host for the GEF project:

WorldClim precip: Monthly dataset link; Main historical data page link

• This dataset contains monthly data. Clipped and reprojected, it can be used in SWY.
• For AWY, the monthly data needs to be added together (summed) to create a single annual layer.

CGIAR Potential Evapotranspiration: Here's the main download page link.

• This dataset has several sub-datasets. The ones we need have "et0" in the file name (there are "ai" ones that we don't need)
• The folder Global-AI_ET0_annual_v3 has annual average, which would be used in AWY.
• Folder Global-ET0_v3_monthly has monthly values, used in SWY.

Hello @newtpatrol! I have been working on procuring these datasets and wanted to clarify one thing. For WorldClim's AWY layer, the monthly data should be summed then an average taken, correct? Or is it just the sum per pixel? Thanks!

Has anyone identified a different global precip layer that has more recent data that we could make easily available? WorldClim is our default, but it's old, and I'm getting increasingly uncomfortable using it.
