I have attempted to add this bridge to the Home app about a dozen times and only seem to receive "accessory is out of compliance" after adding the bridge in the Home app.

I got same problem , Homebridge running on Raspberry Pi 5

Homebridge version : 2.0.0-beta.29
Plugin Version : 3.4.0

after adding as a child bridge it says "accessory is out of compliance"

also mobile device running on iOS 18.5 if needed

Sorry for not being clear. I need to configuration of the plugin.

• On the Plugins page, in the square for Weather Plus, on the bottom right are three vertical dots.
• Tap that and you should get a menu. The menu should contain Plugin Config and JSON Config as well as other options.Plugin Config allows you to configure the plugin with a nice user interface. JSON Config will give you the same information as plain text.
• Select JSON Config
• In the window that opens, copy the contents of it and paste it here. For any lines that have the word key, remove them before saving the comment.

This allows me to reproduce your exact issue and see how to fix it.
