Deduplicate PDFs

We have each source pdf file for the encodings up to four times in the repo. Maybe it would be good to deduplicate them, although I'm not sure what the best course of action would be. Should we keep one copy only in the newest or only in the oldest collection? Probably we could get rid of most of them completely …
