Hi!
First of all I want to thank everyone who is involved in MA-development. The software has made incredible progress and it's a pleasure to use it!
I have found out that very long streams (maybe > 15 hours) at some point go dark on my Google Home Mini - always with the following log-entry:
2025-07-21 15:00:53.952 ERROR (Thread-6) [pychromecast.socket_client] [All House(192.168.1.119):8009] Failed to connect to service HostServiceInfo(host='192.168.1.119', port=8009), retrying in 5.0s
I have tried several settings (have chosen different options: "HTTP profile used for sending audio"; turned on/off: "Use Music Assistant Cast App") with two music providers (Spotify and Deezer) and within two different router environments.
I had a similar issue with AirPlay and was able to completely solve this by turning up the "Audio buffer (ms)" but this setting is not available for Chromecast.
Any ideas what I could try next? I mean as it only occurs with very long streams it's not that big of a deal but anyways ...
