BlockTheSpot + Spicetify Installation Script Issues

Description

According to the README, installing with Spicetify should be as simple as:

“Just download and run BlockTheSpot + Spicetify.bat then answer the prompts when given.”

However, the installation does not behave as expected in both tested cases:

Case 1: No Spotify Installed

• Script tries to run Spicetify installation first.
• Fails because Spotify is not present (no path found).
• Result: BlockTheSpot installs, but Spicetify is missing.

Case 2: Spotify Already Installed

• Script installs Spicetify correctly.
• BlockTheSpot is not installed at all.

Expected Behavior

Following the official one-line instruction should result in:

• If Spotify is not installed → install Spotify first, then Spicetify, then BlockTheSpot.
• If Spotify is installed → install/update both Spicetify and BlockTheSpot.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run BlockTheSpot + Spicetify.bat without Spotify installed → Spicetify fails.
2. Run BlockTheSpot + Spicetify.bat with Spotify installed → BlockTheSpot not applied.

I have a similar issue when installing via the one-liner (Administrator):

However, when I open Spotify afterwards, the window is just blank:

Even stranger: after ~10 seconds I get a popup saying “New BlockTheSpot Update Available”.

I fixed it.
I unistalled spotify with revo unistaller and installed it again with the script and now it work. :D
