Powering PZEM V3

I am new with the PZEM004 V3

I have read many HTML page and I have not find the just information : 

I would like to power PZEM V3 since the 3,3 volts of the serial port of my sonoff 4CH Pro R3
I have not find 5volts into this Sonoff....

Does it possible with the mod of adding resistor 1000 ohm ?
