OSD background box missing recently

Hi, I had this in my mpv.conf:

osd-back-color='#b3000000'

and I think this was what resulted in the OSD (UI element in the top left that e.g. is used for speed changes) having a semi-transparent box drawn around it. Recently, I noticed this box has disappeared. Do I need a new setting, or has this feature been removed? I really liked the feature. Thanks!
