MPI standard page numbers are used:

• p.606, l11 : Replace ""ensuing"" since this is a word I'm not familiar with as a non-native English speaker and I thought I know English quite well. This targets improving understandability. Maybe also in the rest of the document (it's used 9 times). (declined during reading)

• p.614, l9: updated by a an accumulate => updated by an accumulate

• p.616, l 28: I have the impression that commas are missing. Same in the following sentence.

• p.616, l 28: ""whether deadlock"" => ""whether the deadlock"" (declined during reading)

• p.617, l8: ""shared memory variable"" is used here. Throughout the entire document, unify whether ""shared memory"" or ""shared-memory"" is used in such a case.

• p.629, l23: ""free procedures"" => ""free procedure"" (https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-standard/pull/1088)

• Throughout the entire document: Either "" a MPI..."" or "" an MPI...""

• pp. 616 l28, I didn't find missing commas in that sentence
• pp. 616 l28 (is probably line 38 actually): not sure I agree, need to double check.
• The handling of "shared memory" vs. "shared-memory" being consistent throughout the document is pushed to 6.0
• The handling of "a MPI..." vs. "an MPI..." is being consistent throughout the document is pushed to 6.0.
• The issue on pp. 629 l23 has been moved to a separate issue since it is in a different chapter.
