Summary

Capturing discussion for outstanding concerns for ETH Mainnet Overlay.

Initial Concerns:

• Organization: currently the overlays in the Docker Compose targets are a bit mangled. They should cleaned up and ideally match the Process Compose targets.
• Trust: to reduce trust assumptions when using MCR, we will want to at least run a light node. Insofar as we accept Helios as reasonable for the bridge, we could do so as well here. A full-node would be the next option provided we are unsatisfied with the light-node.
• ETH Account Funds: we will want to ensure we have a reliable means of being notified of funds and to replenish them. This can be low priority, as we can include a manual daily check as part of the oncall. But, it would be good to check other solutions.
• Contract Consistency: contract deployments would now be handled by the pipeline per Centralized Contract Pipeline #552, which differs from the leader-based setup we currently have enabled.
