Is it possible to create a function called on focus event?

I needed to make an API call at the time of focus on the input and not for every time the user enters a character. I created an `onFucus` function in the `inputProps`. Would it be possible to create an `input-focus` `reason` to pass to `onSuggestionsFetchRequested` or a new method that has this functionality?
