What feature is your improvement idea related to?
List of actions to show on the keypress HUD besides movement, jumping and ducking
Surf
- Turnbinds ( +left, +right )
- Turnbind Speed (cl_yawspeed, optional) - Current cl_yawspeed of a player could be somewhere on screen, above keypress HUD might be a good place for it
Bhop, HL1 Bhop
- Turnbinds ( +left, +right ) - Might not be allowed on hl1 bhop, don't know enough about the mode
- Turnbind Speed (cl_yawspeed, optional) - Current cl_yawspeed of a player could be somewhere on screen, above keypress HUD might be a good place for it
- Shooting (+attack, optional) - some bhop maps require the use of a gun. I don't think it's strictly necessary to have this on the hud though
Rocket Jump
- Shooting ( +attack )
Sticky Jump
- Shooting ( +attack )
- Detonating ( +attack2 )
Conc
- Priming ( +attack )
- Fizzling ( +attack2 )
Defrag ( all modes )
- Shooting ( +attack )
- Airjump ( not implemented yet )
Ahop
- Sprinting ( +speed ) - Optionally indicate state of sprint in some way ( different colors? ) Ahop Sprint HUD #2430
- Toggle Duck ( toggle_duck ) - toggle duck has different behaviour from normal duck in ahop, some kind of indication of which one is used is necessary for replays/spectating. Could be indicated by a different color or maybe a line under/over the duck element
- Walking ( +walk )
- Mouse Strafing ( +strafe )
KZ Modes and Stamina Bhop
- Shooting ( +attack, optional ) - Some maps require use of a gun, not strictly necessary to have on the hud imo
- Scroll Wheel ( optional ) - Currently, I believe, keypress HUD attempts to visualize every keypress, however when using a scroll wheel it bugs out and the elements don't update properly. Instead of showing every keypress a use of scroll wheel could be indicated instead. Changing the color of the jump and duck elements or adding a line above/below them would be a good way to achieve that. This could extend to other modes as well, even though usage of scroll in them is minimal
