Introducing: Update Checker

The Update Checker is integrated into various sections of NG Extension Manager and will internally notify you when a new update is available or if you're running an outdated version that should be updated.

• If you are one version behind (e.g., your current version is 2.2.7, while the new version is 2.2.8), you can dismiss the notification, and it will not be intrusive.
• If you are two or more versions behind, we strongly recommend updating to ensure the best performance and security.

This feature cannot be disabled. If users suggest improvements, we will evaluate them. A workaround would be deleting the related file, which should not cause any issues.
