NG Extension Manager – Update Changelog

This is a small update, but it includes new features and important changes.
Additionally, this update may cause plugin incompatibility due to recent changes.

📌 Details

• The layout has been redesigned to allow quicker actions (disable/uninstall) and is now split into sections.
• The search function for permissions and host access is now available to everyone.
• Added the "Update URL" feature, which fetches the update URL from the manifest of a selected extension (usually https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx).
• The Homepage URL is no longer shown if it is the same as the Chrome Web Store URL.
• Various performance improvements and other minor adjustments.

🔄 Updates

• The design has been refreshed (not the layout).
• Improved Markdown support.
• The Download button now performs a real download instead of linking to an external download page.
  When clicked, you'll be prompted to install the update or reinstall the entire package.
  You’ll usually get a ZIP file unless it’s a custom package from us — in that case, it’s likely still a ZIP.
• Additional performance improvements and other minor updates.

⚙️ General

• We’ve switched the font back to Inter as the current design doesn’t match well with the previously used font.
• Just a heads-up: we’re almost finished — developers will soon be able to submit plugins for NG Extension Manager!
• Added the downloads permission to the manifest to ensure a smoother, less error-prone experience.
  NG Extension Manager does NOT monitor, view, or block other downloads.
  If you notice anything unusual, please report it!
