Description
The current vocabulary for georeferencing methods lacks completeness and horizontal alignment in terms of detail. To ensure comprehensive and standardized documentation, it is essential to include a broader range of georeferencing methods and provide detailed descriptions for each. This will enhance the usability and accuracy of geospatial data processing.
The current standards used for location referencing in ITS shall be used as a source, this vocabulary shall reflect what location referencing methos is used in the described dataset.
Potential standards in question: ISO 17572-2, ISO 17572-3, EN 16157-2 (DATEX II), ISO 21219-15 (TPEG2-TEC), ISO/TS 19321 (IVI), ETSI EN 302 637-3 (DENM), ISO/TS 18234-8, (TPEG1-CTT) and VICS.
Location referencing in DATEX
following are the methods used in DATEX, not assuming that wee need this level of detail but giving an example.
