Google Analytics problem

I have a problem

I set it up as below

analytics:
  provider: "google-gtag" # false (default), "google", "google-universal", "google-gtag", "custom"
  google:
    tracking_id: "G-5PBY97M4CY"
    anonymize_ip: # true, false (default)

I thought page.analytics was causing issue. So I removed that part as in the PR.

But I am not able to see gtag on my website

What am I doing wrong? Could someone please help?

Have you checked whether you're building your site with JEKYLL_ENV=production?

Thanks! it is working. But as per googles analytics suggestion, it should be in the head tag. Here it is in the body.

paste it in the code of every page of your website, immediately after the head element.
