Need Help :/

I installed a Sungrow SH10RT succesfully and I get my data via MODBUS but I the important Values don't want to show up as Values in my dashboad. Here is a photo about my issue.-->

Everything else work perfect but this unfortunatly will not work. Does anyone know what is wrong here?

• Which LAN port do you use to read the values from the inverter?
• How long did you wait after starting HA? Some sensors have an 10 minute interval. It takes 10 minutes until they get valid values.

I am using the Green one ! The system is now online since a week. I have waited maybe 4 hours :/ or more don't know.

This integration has currently only english names. In case you changed something: Can you try and use the original file from the git repo?

What does the sensor "sensor.load_power" return?

as dylan said, you should make a complete HA reboot and wait some time (my battery often takes more than 10 Minutes to report a new SoC value)

sometimes a value, sometimes 0
english seems not the problem, everything else works fine.
only the friendly names have been changed

This is interesting! Altough I have a battery, the load power is rarely zero.

Maybe the connection between inverter <> energy meter is not working properly. Can you check the connection/ cable? How long is the cable?

Negative the connection between them is 100% fine

Did you checked the HA log file? Maybe there are messages or errors logged.

And you are sure that you have specified the IP address of the local LAN port in the configuration?
What happens when you disconnect the cable from the local LAN port?

If after 1-10 minutes there are also errors with the other sensors, the correct LAN port is configured.

I am Shure! All data freeze and went to unknown and errors appear in the logs of HA. Everything changes except for example sensor.active_generation.

After I plug the cable again. sensor.active_generation stays unknown but the rest worked again.

The inverter sometimes has problems with the modbus connection. It's a common bug for sungrow inverters. Some have it, some don't. I tried a lot, since I was seeing the same behaviour, the sensors may work fine for a certain amount of time, then stop reporting values and after some time, or a reboot it gets fixed. I think, that's also what you are experiencing. What worked for me, was to set the delay between requests to one or two seconds for some sensors (I did all of the ones, that were updated every 10 seconds). Some guys on a german forum found that the inverter closes the connection if there was no request for x amount of time (is different on pretty much every inverter). If that doesn't help, you could add message_wait_milliseconds: 40 to the config, right below timeout.

So you have configured two clients to read data simultaneous from the Sungrow inverter. First Sungather and second Modbus integration in HA?

I did everything according to the installation instructions. If they have two, I will have two too, or I'm missing something.

As i am understanding it - Sungather ist the addon who reads the Modbus Data

I have found maybe something my SunGather addon reports this in the log files:

My guess is: After 'modbus', 'model': None -> should stand something useful ?

It seemed fixed but the Sun Gather addon is very unstable. In the beginning it works and after 30 minutes it is stuck at the last value. This is written in the Log file

Did I miss the configuration of SunGather should I do besides digging in the YAML Files a configuration of MQTT Mosquitto ?
