Welcome to the KES wiki! Here, you can find information about MinIO's KES project - including architecture and configuration guides, best practices and general documentation.
Get Started
In general, KES is a tool for managing and distributing cryptographic keys in large and distributed systems.
It tries to solve the problem of distributing cryptographic keys to high-performance and horizontally-scaling
applications. Basically, it's a distributed and simplified
KMS for containerized infrastructures.
If you're new to KES you may want to checkout our Get Started Guide or read more about how KES works at our Concepts page.
