Is it possible to use vertico-multiform-buffer in emacs TTY?

I personally find it very useful to have search results show up in a side buffer in emacs GUI:

I usually use the GUI but for work, I need to use emacs TTY. I've noticed that this isn't supported:

Is it just simply not possible in TTY?

Yes. I don't know why it behaves differently here. Check out vertico-buffer-display-action.

Thanks for the lead. vertico-buffer-display-action is set to (display-buffer-in-side-window (side . right) (window-width . 0.5)) (both GUI and TTY). I'll dig around to see why it behaves differently.

It was an issue with my config.
