findAlleles light chain alleles not changing from 00 #1998
-
Hello, I ran the analyze command on 10x BCR data, sliced the clns file, and ran findAlleles on the sliced clns (MiXCR version and commands attached below). Why do light chain allele numbers remain at *00 despite successful allele detection? Technical details I'm using the dev version below due to an issue I have with the main 4.7.0 (#1847 (comment)): These are the commands I used:

Hi Liel, However, we haven’t done the same verification for the light chain. As a result, the number remains 00, though the alleles are still being correctly identified-they’re just all marked as DE_NOVO. Mark |

Hi Liel,
The thing is, we don’t rely solely on IMGT alleles because we’ve found a number of errors in their dataset. For the heavy chain, we manually verified the alleles using raw data. We also published a paper on this, which you can find here.
However, we haven’t done the same verification for the light chain. As a result, the number remains 00, though the alleles are still being correctly identified-they’re just all marked as DE_NOVO.
