Sometimes mouse is efficient!

HI! I loved this file manager. I used to use marta as my default file manager. Nimble just gave me all the features that I wanted in marta (almost). But I also do miss some, well two features.

1. If the header (IDK what is it called, see photo) can be clicked to switch directories that would be awesome. I know it has parent folders pop up, but sometimes mouse is just faster.
   On this one I can click the ribbon to move directories easily!
   2. When I copy large files from local to remote it just shows a spinning wheel on the 2nd pane. If it could show a bar instead, for indication and could stop/pause/resume from there that would be awesome. (I don't know if there is anything similar on this file manager.) This can be done in toolbar. But it will make the toolbar thicker.
   

2. On the quick search if I can also put space that would also be nice.

Extremely sorry for putting another file-manager in the context. But I'd love to see those features.

Sure, somebody just needs to implement this.
Since NC is now open source - PRs are welcome.

That's true, currently the operations box makes the toolbar feel chunky, especially if there aren't any tool icons there.
I thought about redesigning it at some point, but didn't come up with an approach that would be more elegant and not lose informativeness or functionality at the same time.

You can adjust this in the settings: Panels -> Quick Search -> Ignore characters.

I've mapped preview with space. It does ignore space, but I can not press space. it conflicts with preview. but it should not preview me when I'm in quick search mode. Sorry, I should be more clear on that.

Until somebody goes ahead and contributes the implementation - the chance is very slim.

You can adjust this in the settings: Panels -> Quick Search -> Ignore characters.

You need to either remove the preview action from Space or start using modifiers like Opt for Quick Search to distinguish between them.
