That's not implemented since Nimble Commander's UX focuses primarily on keyboard-based navigation.
That looks like a bug, thanks for bringing attention to this, I've created an issue #525.
This I cannot reproduce - for me NC behaves as expected and written in the doc. |

Hi.
I just found Nimble Commander - amazing! I installed NC from the App Store.
I wanted to write down a few issues I have experienced.
I tried to click on components of a path, hoping it would jump to that directory. Maybe that could be allowed.
I tried to perform a search which worked by creating a temporary panel. Then I found "rename in place" which is exactly what I wanted, but after I hit enter the old name is still shown although the file does have the new name.
The docs say I can close a tab with Command+W but that closes the NC window instead.
The docs say closing a window is Shift + Cmd + W, but that doesn't appear to work.
