@Kyle-Reis May I ask what the reasons are for this? What are the risks and benefits to us as developers? Thank you. |

Hey @andrejacobs-unily - Providing the IntuneMAMConfigurator as a DMG allows for signing/notarization of the DMG package, which helps ensure the integrity of the tool and also removes the need for users to make it executable by running the chmod +x command before use. Since the tool is signed, users no longer need to explicitly trust it the first time they attempt to execute it as well. |

We are making a change to how the IntuneMAMConfigurator tool will be made available to app developers in this repository. Starting with the 20.5.0 release, the IntuneMAMConfigurator tool will be provided in a mountable DMG package. If you use any automation/scripts to download or execute the IntuneMAMConfigurator tool, please plan to update your automation to account for this change. The current ETA for the 20.5.0 release is end of March 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please reply directly to this announcement or file an issue in this repository.
