Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.99.3. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains. Happy Coding! |

Having this exact same issue! May be caused by Git Bash. It also happens in VSCode forks (Trae and Cursor) |

initially as I installed vs the terminal was working but at certain point of use it stopped working not writing the path, just remained empty when i enter it, so it forced me to be using external terminal. what is the solution please
