GitHub Copilot integration (Preview): AI-assisted coding inside the MSSQL extension
ORM scaffolding: Generate Sequelize, Prisma, or EF Core models instantly
Schema comprehension: Understand complex relationships, joins, views, and stored procedures
Performance optimization: Get suggestions to improve query efficiency
Test data generation: Automatically populate tables with mock data
Security insights: Detect risky patterns and improve access control and formatting
New UI – General Availability: The modernized UI is now stable and available by default, including improvements to the Connection Dialog, Object Explorer, Query Results, and Table Designer.
Schema Designer (Preview): A new visual experience to explore and modify table structures without writing raw T-SQL.
