Checkbox inside OptionTemplate doesn't receive click event

It seems fluentselect intercepts the click event, and it doesn't let checkbox to receive any click event. is there any solution for this?
Thank you. I tried putting @onmousedown:stopPropagation and @onclick:stopPropagation
on div and on input (it was gpt suggestion) but it didn't work. I tried to put that onclick inside input tag as well, didn't help.

That doesn't work in the v4 select component.
In v5, setting a select to have multiple will render checkboxes for you.

As an alternative, for anyone who might have the same problem, I used popover component.
