Password Icon shows black in darkmode

It would be nice if we could control the color of this icon. Please excuse me if I have not found the appropriate setting.

This is a browser icon. We have no direct control over this element. You may be able to change it using CSS.

Thank you for the reply. It is strange tp me since in your demo it is white. In my app it is black.
Is there some additional setup that you do? Like do you incorporate some overriding tokens that make your demo have a white icon?

The color of this icon probably depends on your browser theme. Try changing your browser theme to DarkMode (and not just the FluentUI website mode). Again, a CSS style probably exists to customize this icon.

Strange, when the fluenttextfield is on an editform the icon is white and visible, when not on an editform the icon is black and bearly visible. Even when setting the dark theme from the browser.

That must be some internal css checking if the input is in a form
